I was working with a man named Leland Wong-Daugherty, on cutting the joints for the frame of his strawbale timber frame house he was making. He is a home builder, and is currently living in a smalller strawbale house he built a few years ago when his family was smaller. its off grid, has solar pannels, rainwater harvesting and a compost toilet.

queen posts and a collar tie
Here is one of the supporting beams that goes in the attick. They will support the rafters. The house was made with no nails, just tenden and mortis.
